To help offset these costs, families can access up to $1132.00 per eligible child for basic dental services over a two-year period through Medicare’s Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS).
Is My Child Eligible for the CDBS?
Your child may qualify for the CDBS if they meet the following criteria:
- They are aged 0 to 17 years for at least one day within the calendar year
- They are eligible for Medicare
- They are part of a family receiving Family Tax Benefit Part A or the child is receiving an Australian Government payment listed by Services Australia.
